タンパク質などの生体高分子の構造・機能・相互作用を物理化学的手法(主にNMR, 計算化学,機械学習,X線小角散乱など)によって解析し、生命現象の理解や創薬研究などへの応用を目指している.また,NMR法の計測・解析法の手法開発も進めている.
